About Karin: Colorado Native Karin Carr has always had a passion for the arts. She received her first Bachelors at Stephens College – a bachelors of Fine Arts – and then moved to Chicago, where she lived for six years. While there, she found inspiration in the city’s amazing culture and stunning architecture, and she was moved to pursue a second degree upon her return home. Carr earned a Bachelors of Arts in Interior Design from the Art Institute of Colorado, where she was able to combine her love of arts and culture with her newly found passion for design.

After Carr graduated from The Art Institute of Colorado she worked alongside many other wonderful designers over the years, focusing on residential, commercial and kitchen/bath design, however it wasn’t long before she was moved to begin her own design business, and she proudly opened 5280 Wheelhouse Designs on NEED DATE.

5280 Wheelhouse Designs is dedicated to making the design process as comfortable and exciting as possible. Our philosophy is to exceed the client’s expectations by providing high-quality, individual design with a process that’s both fun and smooth, while providing great customer service.

In addition, Carr never lost her love of the arts, and this talented designer has also been working in the local theater community, designing sets for theatrical productions all over the state of Colorado. Her designs have been an excellent blend of Carr’s unique vision with each theater company’s specific needs and budgetary concerns, thereby making Carr one of the most sought-after designers for theatrical set design in town.
